Bodugi scoop Newcomer of the Year at Betview Awards

Bodugi Betview Awards 2012

Last night, the team from Tanka Creative were delighted to join our social betting client Bodugi, at the Betview Awards 2012. We donned our dinner suits and headed along to the Grosvenor house hotel, Park Lane, where we drank champagne and waited nervously for Jeff Stelling to take to the stage to announce the winners.

All of the hard work Bodugi and Tanka Creative have done over the last year paid off, when Dave Nevison and Michael Wilson were invited to take to the stage to collect their award. Bodugi pipped fellow nominees Bet Butler and Bettor to the prize for Newcomer of the Year.

Michael said “We’re absolutely over the moon. It’s been a year of hard graft, but it’s all been worth it to get this recognition from our peers in the industry. Now we just have to keep pushing ahead and getting our name out there.”

It’s been an exciting year so far, working with Bodugi to develop their social media strategy, designing whitelabel versions of their social betting games, and working on the launch of Bodugi’s innovative affiliate scheme. We look forward to working with them on many more projects, and hopefully this will be the first award of many!

It’s a gloriously sunny day at Tanka Creative towers and we’re pleased to announce a new client win! We have been appointed to work with The Verto Group to redesign and develop their full suite of corporate websites. Tanka’s digital marketing brief will also include SEO optimisation, digital marketing strategy development and social media.

The Verto Group is a young and fast-growing umbrella company based in London, specialising in law, finance and property. The group comprises four companies across different sectors. Verto Group Legal is an innovative and approachable law firm in the heart of the West End. Verto Group Developments is a prestigious property company with a focus on sustainable development. Verto Group Acquisitions is a property consultancy and acquisition agency, securing exclusive property opportunities across the capital on behalf of clients, and Verto Group Enterprise specialises in providing seed funding to SMEs based in the UK.

Kirsty Bell joins Tanka Creative from social media agency Yomego

Tanka are delighted to announce that Kirsty Bell will be joining the Tanka Creative team as Digital Strategy Director. Kirsty joins us from Yomego, an award-winning social media agency, where she has worked with brands including Tesco, Durex, Scholl, Adobe, Scholastic and Morrison Bowmore distilleries to develop and implement social media strategies, training programmes, and campaigns.

Kirsty has a wealth of experience in social media measurement and analytics, having worked to develop Yomego’s bespoke monitoring service, Social Media Reputation (SMR). She has also spoken internationally at social media events and conferences on a diverse range of subjects including B2B social media, developing a global social media strategy, and delivering improved customer service through digital channels.

Kirsty also holds the accolade of being the first Scottish person to join the Tanka team, so we’ll be sure to raise a glass of whisky to celebrate her becoming a part of the agency!

Branding & Cross-Platform Mobile App

Tanka have created a new app powered by Weekend Football, which is the easiest way to make football accumulator bets on your mobile, for the best odds, the best returns, with your favourite bookmakers, for free. The ‘Football coupon’ allows user to lay accumulator bets, whilst on the move and is entirely cross-platform and will be available for use on Tablets including iPad.

Tanka was responsible for the initial brand design for Football Accumulator logo, taking a simplified view of the coupon as the basis for the icon.

We’ve designed a remarkably easy to use interface streamlining the process of laying an accumulator bet with the user’s favourite accounts.

We’re proud to say that our client Weekend Football are delighted with the results and have engaged us to support the launch of the app with a social media strategy.
